GES Food Drive for Ardmore Food Pantry
The Gladwyne Elementary School HSA will be having a food drive to benefit the Ardmore Food Pantry. There will be a collection bin in the Gladwyne Elementary vestibule from November 2nd through November 20th. We are asking for certain items from each grade to ensure the food pantry does not get too many of one thing!
Kindergarten: canned pumpkin, tuna, hearty soups, boxed cereal, pasta sauce.
1st grade: canned green beans, canned cranberries, boxed cereal, pasta, pasta sauce.
2nd grade: stuffing, canned corn, hearty soups, pasta sauce, mac and cheese.
3rd grade: canned yams, cake mix, hearty soups, jarred gravy.
4th grade: canned green beans, cream of mushroom soup, boxed cereal, canned pumpkin, canned vegetables.
We are also asking for $25 grocery store gift cards that the food pantry can hand out. The Wolf Ambassadors will also be making cards for the food pantry!

GES Blood Drive
The Red Cross is hosting a blood drive in the Gladwyne auditorium on Tuesday, November 24th from 12-5pm! This will overlap with daytime conferences so it's a great opportunity to donate while you're there!

REMINDER TO PARENTS:
GET THOSE VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES!
If you would like to start or continue volunteering during the school year, please make sure you have up-to-date clearances on file with Lower Merion School District. For current volunteers, the Raptor System will send an email to alert parents when their clearances are expiring soon. All the information about obtaining and submitting clearances is on the district website located here. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the Office of School and Community Relations at 610-645-1977.
